Cricket Scotland acknowledges the Tilney Regional Series fixture clash with celebrations of Eid al-Adha on Sunday 11th August 2019.
We regret that due to a busy fixture schedule, the Tilney T20 Blitz fixtures due to be played on Sunday 11th August at Forthill cannot be rescheduled and therefore will go ahead as planned.
Cricket Scotland understands teams may be affected by this.
Sunday sees the culmination of the Tilney T20 Blitz in the Tilney Men’s Regional Series, Cricket Scotland’s premier domestic competition featuring three sides – Eastern Knights, Caledonian Highlanders and Western Warriors.
The T20 double-header takes place at Forthill (Forfarshire Cricket Club) from 11am with the first T20 seeing Caledonian Highlanders take on Eastern Knights before hosting Western Warriors at 3pm.
Today (5th August) saw wins for Eastern Knights and Caledonian Highlanders to leave the series in the balance for Sunday’s final showdown.
Cricket Scotland respects the decision of players wishing to celebrate Eid al-Adha.
