The WDCU can confirm today’s Rowan Cup Final between GHK and Prestwick at Hamilton Crescent has been abandoned.
Following an on-field injury to a player, the match umpires made a decision that play could not continue. Both the WDCU and today’s hosts West of Scotland CC support the decision to abandon the match as player safety is paramount.
The WDCU have begun the process of rearranging the fixture. A decision on a date and venue will be announced as soon as possible.
