Last year’s winners, Kinross Ladies (pictured above), will be defending their indoor cricket crown in the National Girls' and Women's Indoor Cricket Sixes tournament at Bells Sports Centre on Saturday 26 March from 11am to 4pm.
It’s the tournament’s fourth year and is sure to be the climax of the Scottish women's indoor season, and a great precedent for the fast-approaching summer season.
The tournament welcomes clubs and teams of all ages and ability to take part in Scotland’s most popular indoor cricket event.
Games are Six-players-a-side and clubs are invited to enter as many teams as possible.
Girls’ and Women’s Development Officer Lea Tsui says: “The aim as ever is to bring as many girls and women together to play cricket. It’s very exciting each year to see new faces, new teams and the development of those who have had another year’s experience in the game.”
Download the FLYER - and the entry form can be downloaded HERE and should be returned to Lea Tsui with payment of £10 per team by Friday 11 March 2011 to: Cricket Scotland, National Cricket Academy, Ravelston, Edinburgh EH4 3NT.
