Cricket Tickets for Troops

Cricket Scotland is backing the ‘Tickets for Troops’ campaign announced today, by making available free tickets for the forthcoming Scotland v Australia One-Day International in Edinburgh on Friday 28 August.

Chief executive Roddy Smith says: “Cricket Scotland are delighted to support the Tickets for Troops initiative. We are, in a very small way, grateful to to be able to show our support and thanks to all our forces for the fantastic work that they do on behalf of us all. I am sure they will have a great day watching Scotland take on world champions
Australia on our own patch.”

The Tickets for Troops campaign was launched by David Cameron MP on behalf of the
Scottish Conservatives.

Tickets for this historic cricket match - the first official ODI between the two countries
outside of the World Cup - are also available for public purchase.

Tickets, priced at £39 - a reduction of 20% on the cost of tickets for last year’s big game
against England - can be purchased by phoning 0844 481 1221, or online through
www.ticketsoup.com
