Can Scots now beat Ireland's U17s?

 

 

 

Hard on the heels of European triumphs by Scotland's U18s and U15s, the nation's U17 youngsters return to action in the ongoing European Challenge series, in which Scotland, Ireland and the Netherlands - along with Denmark, Jersey and Guernsey - have been playing each other in three-match mini-tournaments.

 

The Scots play their keen rivals from Ireland in three matches on consecutive days from Tuesday 10 August, at clubs in the Northwest area. Several of the Scottish squad have already been in European action as members of the U18 team that won the European Championships that were the first stage of qualification for the U19 World Cup.
