Cricket Scotland are pleased to announce that they will be running four indoor cricket tournaments for girls and women before the end of 2011.
These tournaments provide females with an opportunity to continue and develop their cricket skills in a fun environment.
The tournaments are open to schools, clubs and universities. All you need to do to enter a team is fill in the entry form, a sample of rules is also available.
Kari Carswell, Cricket Scotland’s Women’s Cricket Manager said “these tournaments are an excellent way to keep your skills up to scratch over the winter period. Indoor matches develop a lot of different tactics; it’s also a quick paced game where everyone is involved all the time.
Playing indoor doesn’t mean we have an issues with the weather so we are pretty much guaranteed to get some good games of cricket in, I’m very much looking forward to the first tournament on the 30th October.”
