Andrew Tennant Head of Community and Performance

Andy was appointed as Head of Performance in 2009 and his job remit includes, the strategic leadership of Cricket Scotland's Performance Development programmes, supporting the work of the Head coach in driving forward the high performance programme, head coaches role with the Scotland Lions, managing our developing relationship with the sportscotland Institute of Sport and overall responsibility for the education and development of our Scotland's Performance Coaches.

Andy has worked for Cricket Scotland for eight years in two spells starting as a development officer in the west and progressing through the ranks to his current role. He still occasionally turns out for Prestwick and has 23 caps for Scotland. Last year he graduated from the ECB Level 4 Elite Coach Programme with merit.
