A mix of experience and young blood have been included in a squad to travel down to Neston Cricket Club to play Lancashire 2’s in a one day match and two T20s this week.

Richie Berrington has been given the opportunity to lead the 12-man team, which includes former Scotland captain Preston Mommsen along with Matthew Cross and George Munsey.

It will be an important few days for the players as they will be keen to impress Head Coach Grant Bradburn, who is travelling down with the team, in time for the coming internationals against England and Pakistan in June.

Scotland ‘A’ Squad: Richie Berrington (captain), George Munsey, Michael English, Preston Mommsen, Dylan Budge, Matthew Cross, Riyaad Henry, Mitchell Rao, Hamza Tahir, Ross Lyons, Alasdair Evans, Elliot Ruthven.
