Cricket Scotland today confirmed that Kyle Coetzer is now available for Scotland’s matches against Sri Lanka in Kent.
After the birth of his second child, Gabriella Elise Coetzer – who arrived earlier than expected – the batsman is able to join up with his team-mates for the two fixtures at the County Ground, Beckenham.
Con de Lange will still take charge for the first fixture before Coetzer will regain the reigns for the second game.
On the news Kyle Coetzer said, “These fixtures against a strong Sri Lankan team will be a great start to our international summer. Albeit we only have two games but they will go a long way towards our preparations for the Zimbabwe and Namibia fixtures in June.”
Entry to the two matches is free of charge.
