CDD is a successful, independently owned family business, now in its fifth year, specialising in the supply of a comprehensive range of high quality cricket kit, teamwear and outdoor equipment to hundreds of clubs and several county cricket boards throughout the UK.

A further unique aspect of CDD is that the company is the leading supplier of women’s cricket gear, having recognised the importance of the women’s game since the company formed. CDD is proud to include England captain, Heather Knight as a brand ambassador, as well as Scotland captain, Abbi Aitken.

Through working with Heather and other key stakeholders in the women’s game, CDD introduced The Heather Knight Collection of cricket gear four years ago, designed by women for women. Both Heather and Abbi use bats and other kit from The Heather Knight Collection.

CDD Marketing Manager Tony Gibbs said, “We sponsor several women and girls to encourage participation at all levels and, as the company is proud of its links with Cricket Scotland, we are delighted to have this opportunity to provide direct support for the women’s game in Scotland where there is a clear commitment to supporting girls to get involved”.

Cricket Scotland Commercial Manager Paul Macari added “It’s fantastic news that the Women’s Premier League has CDD as its sponsor in this its first year. Women’s cricket in Scotland is growing at a rapid pace and the new league format will offer the women’s teams a more competitive format and provide a platform to inspire more girls to take up the game.”
