Ahead of the domestic season which commences this weekend, Cricket Scotland would like to draw Clubs attention to the new Disciplinary Procedures in place for 2018.
Most are largely unchanged but we have made some changes to the Appeals Procedure. As there have been difficulties in recent times in setting up Appeal Panel Committees, we have expanded the Appeal Panel and have set dates for Appeal Hearings. This is should ensure appeals can be heard timeously and everyone involved in cricket in Scotland knows the set dates.
These have been set as 24th May, 28th June, 2nd August and the 6th September – all at 1900 hrs and all to be held at Cricket Scotland HQ.
The Code of Conduct has been updated to reflect recent changes by MCC to the Laws of Cricket, in particular to Law 42, and the classification of offences and should be read in conjunction with League and Cup Competition Rules and Playing Conditions.
