The WDCU organises and promotes cricket to half the population of Scotland, from Dumfries & Galloway in the south-west, up the west coast, and across the central belt to the Forth Valley.
The Western Premier Division is the top domestic league for the region and runs throughout the summer with 10 teams playing 50 over cricket home and away.
The champions of the league play off against the winners of the Eastern Premier League in the CSL Grand Final to be crowned national champions.
At the end of the season, the bottom two clubs will be relegated to the First Division.
