Wildcats to take on Lancashire July 2011

This weekend (31 July) will see the Scotland Wildcat’s take on Lancashire in their latest ECB County Championship Division 3 fixture, taking place at Stirling County Cricket Club with an 11am start.

After a washed out game against Devon followed by a 1 wicket loss against the same opposition in June, the Wildcat’s will be looking to put in a strong performance and come away with a win.

Wildcats coach Kari Anderson is in optimistic mood “we played well against Devon and let ourselves down in a couple areas so we will be looking to put that right this weekend.  There is no doubt we have some fantastically skilled players in the squad and we will be looking for a win this weekend.”

The Wildcats will be looking to emulate the U17 Womens squad who have just returned from a tour of the Midlands, in England.
