T20 season hits Scotland this July with the return of the men and women’s Regional Series, following the conclusion of the 50-over campaign.
Tilney T20 Blitz
The Tilney T20 Blitz, the premier men’s domestic T20 competition in Scotland, is set to hit Dundee this Friday when Caledonian Highlanders host reigning 50-over and T20 champions Eastern Knights at Forthill from 5pm.
Entry will be free.
The fixture also follows the Euro T20 Slam draft – scheduled to take place the same day at 10am – so fans will be able to catch some of Europe’s most sought-after T20 cricketers.
Women’s Regional Series
The T20 leg of the Women’s Regional Series kicked off at Dumfries on 14th July where Eagles snatched all points on offer to lead Stormers by 8 points to 4.
Stormers will be looking to make it odds even this Sunday at West of Scotland CC for the second T20 double-header of the campaign.
Entry is free and the first T20 starts at 11am with the second following at 3pm.
Eagles have announced their squad and you can expect to catch plenty of Scotland’s internationalists with Abbi Aitken, Sarah Bryce, Ikra Farooq, Sam Haggo and Katie McGill set to make an appearance at West of Scotland amongst others.
