Biography
Gordon came to prominence as a noted captain of Watsonians in the SNCL, where his all round skills spurred his club to better times after a period of uncertainty. He was appointed as captain of the Scotland 2nd XI for its first foray into the County 2nd XI Championship in 2007 as the next stage in his development. Success in this role led to his first cap against Warwickshire on 10th June 2007. Drummond succeeded Gavin Hamilton as Scotland skipper in 2010, and lead his country in 16 One Day Internationals before giving up the position in early 2013, after a successfull 3 years as captain.
