Biography
Born and bred in Paisley, Glasgow Majid is one of the more experienced members of the team and has been influential in Scotland’s success in recent times. Majid recently represented the Associate Select XI against England in early 2012.
He has been one of Scotland’s most consistent bowlers, having worked hard on various aspects of his game over the years. His off-breaks have claimed the prize wickets of players such as Kevin Pietersen, Andrew Strauss, Samit Patel and James Taylor, to name but a few.
Majid has featured in several major tournaments with Scotland, including the West Indies in XX and South Africa.
He is a polite likable character who spends a lot of time thinking about the game. His hard work ethic has helped mould him into one of Scotland's finest spinners.
