Michael Jones won the Performance Players Player Bi-monthly award for the second time this year. He was closely followed by Michael English and Scott Cameron for the months of August and September.

Toby Bailey (National Performance Coach) commented;

“Michael Jones finished the domestic season by continuing to score big runs. The highlight of the last couple of months was 120* for the Development XI against a strong Durham Second XI which had England International Mark Wood in the attack. Michael also has been rewarded with a Senior Durham Academy contract.”

“Michael English has continued to impress with 76, also against Durham Second XI, and a very impressive 51 against The Eastern Knights helping The Western Warriors win the regional T20 Trophy.”

“Scott Cameron has also finished the season well, picking up wickets and scoring a match winning 65* against The Eastern Knights in the regional T20. He has also debuted for Gloucestershire Second XI and was a late replacement for the national squad in the recent tour to Papua New Guinea.”
