2013 ASDA National Primary Schools’ Cup

23 May

The 2013 ASDA National Primary Schools’ Cup will culminate with a National Finals’ Day at the picturesque Doo’Cot Park in Perth, on Tuesday 18th June.

In order to reach Finals’ Day, Primary Schools will have to have won through a series of Regional Qualifying Tournaments.  This format will continue to ensure that Cricket Scotland can continue to generate further interest, and additional participation, in the game – as well as providing a competitive outlet for primary school cricket teams and ultimately finding the best school team in the country.

The 2013 Regional Qualifying Tournaments are as follows:

Friday 24th May, Livingston CC
Monday 3rd June, Dumfries CC
Tuesday 4th June, Ayr CC
Tuesday 4th June, Meadowmill Sports Centre, Tranent
Wednesday 5th June, Cavalry Park, Edinburgh
Wednesday 5th June, Clydesdale CC
Wednesday 5th June, Dunfermline CC
Wednesday 5th June, Fochabers CC
Wednesday 5th June, Perth & Kinross Regional Finals
Friday 7th June, West Lothian CC
Tuesday 11th June, Arbroath CC
Tuesday 11th June, Forfarshire CC
Tuesday 11th June, Stoneywood-Dyce CC

Thanks to on-going support from the official National Primary Schools’ Cup partner, ASDA, and the hard work of staff and volunteers, the competition has grown from 234 Primary Schools in the inaugural event in 2009 to over 500 in 2011 and 2012 – and hopefully many more in 2013.
