CDT - Inaugural Golf Day

27 Aug

The Cricket Development Trust Scotland extends a warm invitation to cricket clubs across the country to join them at their inaugural Golf Day at Balbirnie Park Golf Club, Markinch, Fife on Friday 3rd October 2014.
Balbirnie Park Golf Club is one of Fife’s finest parkland courses set within 140 acres of Fife woodland. The present-day layout was opened in 1983 and the course measures 6,318 yards with a par of 71.

Clubs are invited to enter a team of 4 to compete in what will be a Stableford competition for the Cricket Development Trust Scotland Trophy. The tee off at 1pm will be preceded by a bite to eat and then following the round players will enjoy a two course meal. There will also be a raffle with some excellent prizes.

Robbie Nellies the Trust's Commercial Director commented ' We hope this unique event proves popular with clubs up and down the country many of whom have golfers within their ranks. The competition gives clubs the chance to be crowned Scottish golf champions and also provides the Trust with the opportunity to raise awareness of the on-going work it does in supporting the development of the game in Scotland'.
