Cricket Scotland head to the Cowal Gathering

Cricket Factory

Following the success of the Cricket Scotland and Cricket Factory takeover of Festival Square in Edinburgh we would like to announce Cricket Scotland's attendance at this year’s Cowal Highland Gathering in Dunoon.

The Cricket Factory Rig will be visiting a Highland Games event for the first time and builds on our very successful public event in Edinburgh last summer, which helped us win an ICC global development award.

Working again with our partners Cricket Factory, and in association with Clydesdale Bank, we will be bringing an experience of the game of Cricket and all its associated core skills to the Games.

Steve Paige Head of Participation said, “I’m delighted that we’re going to have such a large presence at the Cowal Highland Gathering in partnership with Cricket Factory and I’m grateful to Clydesdale Bank for their support in making this happen.  The rig is a great way for people to have a go at the core skills including seeing how fast they can throw on the speed challenge”.

If you're visiting the Games then come and visit our Cricket Scotland coaching team at the Cricket Factory rig on Friday and Saturday the 30th and 31st of August.
