Decider washed out in Glasgow

04 Jul

Scotland and Holland were denied the chance to determine a winner during their One Day series in Glasgow.

The players arrived to steady drizzle at Clydesdale Cricket Club, and it was soon decided that an early lunch was to be taken as the rain became more persistent.

At 2pm, and no let-up in the weather, the captain's shook hands to conclude what has been an entertaining couple of matches.

After Scotland lost their way in the chase of the Netherlands total of 252 in the first match, a 149 by Calam MacLeod ensured the home-side would secure a 144 (DL) win to level the series.

Cricket Scotland would like to thank Clydesdale Cricket Club for their hospitality throughout the week.
