Kari Carswell, Cricket Scotland’s Women’s Cricket Manager, commented, “Firstly, congratulations to Dumfries for winning all their games, and to all the teams who came along to play in the tournament.  Indoor cricket is a fantastic format and development of the women’s game in Scotland.

The feedback we have had is that the teams are enjoying these tournaments, and learning more about the game with every match they play.  We have two further tournaments scheduled before the start of the outdoor season, one at Craigholme School in Glasgow on the 3rd March, and then one on the 7th April at the National Cricket Academy”.

Cricket Scotland acknowledges all the club volunteers and Lea Tsui who ensured that the day ran smoothly. Also thanks to Hugh Farries of Dumfries CC for the photos.
