Ireland v Scotland to be streamed live

It has been announced that the three One Day Internationals between Ireland and Scotland in Malahide will be streamed live by QuipuTV.

The three matches will be live on the Cricket Scotland, Cricket Ireland and ICC Europe websites, which will be free to view around the world, as part of a joint initiative between the two national governing bodies and ICC Europe. 

Cricket Scotland CEO Roddy smith said, “We’re delighted to enter into this joint venture with our traditional rivals, Ireland, in enabling cricketing supporters from around the globe to watch all three ODIs on the Cricket Scotland and Cricket Ireland websites.

The contribution made by ICC Europe to help both countries fund the cost of streaming these three matches should not be underestimated. They promise to be exciting encounters that should make for some compelling viewing.”

Managing Director of QuipuTV, Jack McGill also added, "Ireland v Scotland provided the inspiration for QuipuTV's creation back in July 2011 and it's fantastic once again to be involved in bringing this great local rivalry to a global audience. It's been rewarding to watch coverage of Associate cricket grow in the last few years and I'm proud of the part QuipuTV has played in that.

 We hope that fans of both teams will continue to enjoy the benefits of livestreaming and digital coverage, and we look forward to hearing from them over the course of this ODI series."

ICC Europe Development Manager, Nick Pink commented, “ICC Europe are delighted to be able to support the livestreaming of this series. Associate cricket is now available to viewers more than ever before and ICC Europe are committed to enhancing the coverage accessible to fans.

“We wish both Ireland and Scotland the very best of luck in what will be their last ODI series before the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.”

Majid Haq with the ICC World Cup Trophy QuipuTV has been working closely with Cricket Scotland this season to ensure Scotland fans have been able to enjoy the North Sea Pro Series, Scotland v Netherlands and Scotland v Blackcaps A. 

It has also been announced that the 2015 World Cup Trophy will be at Malahide, following on from its visit to some of Scotland's most iconic settings last week. 

Tickets for the Scotland series are still available on and Ticket Master outlets nationwide.

An adult ticket costs €10, with Senior Citizens costing €8. Entry for under 16’s is free, while there is a three match special offer priced at only €20.
