Kalli become Cricket Scotland Supplier
From Cricket Scotland
Cricket Scotland has signed an agreement with Kalli to have all of its teamwear supplied by this specialist brand for cricketers, delivered by the owners of Masuri, the preferred cricket helmet manufacturer of many international players.
“We are delighted to have entered into a new partnership with the Kalli brand,” said Cricket Scotland Chief Executive Roddy Smith. “They are an exciting new player in the market who are looking to challenge the established major forces, a situation very similar to the Scotland national teams. We have been very impressed with the drive and enthusiasm they have shown to be our clothing partner and we look forward to working proactively with them.’’
Commenting on this new arrangement, Jon Hardy, Founder of Jon Hardy & Co, owners of Kalli and Masuri said: “We are thrilled to be working with Roddy and the team at Cricket Scotland and look forward to a long and mutually beneficial partnership.”
JHACO is not new to teamwear provision, having supplied teamwear to cricket clubs around the UK over the past year. The ongoing success of this has inspired the launch of the Kalli brand, specifically to manage the company’s teamwear activities.
As well as Cricket Scotland’s playing teamwear, Kalli will also supply all training attire and casual wear, which will be available to both players and fans.
Scotland’s famous Saltire jerseys will also be marketed by Kalli throughout Scotland and online. All replica merchandise will be manufactured and sold by Kalli.
Alongside the teamwear, Cricket Scotland has also chosen Masuri as its preferred cricket helmet supplier. Safety is at the forefront of Cricket Scotland’s thinking, particularly in school and club cricket and Masuri as the market leader in the design of cricket helmets is also the number one choice for international cricketers.
The partnership will start with Scotland’s next round of international fixtures in February and March 2013. Scottish teams will be donning their Kalli apparel featuring a unique and stylish design that has been designed by Kalli and selected by Cricket Scotland.
Kalli is a new brand under the JHACO umbrella. The brand has been supplying cricketing teamwear to cricket clubs throughout 2012 and is looking to replicate the success experienced by another JHACO brand, Masuri, the market leading cricket helmet manufacturer.
