Perth and Kinross 2015 Cricket Courses

27 Jan

Would you like to get more involved with volunteering at your local club or school? The Perth and Kinross 2015 pre and early season coach, officials and volunteers education programme is now open for bookings and there’s something for everyone. The programme includes a 2-hour beginner’s course for scoring.

This is aimed at parents and players (12+) that wish to learn the art of scoring an innings. For those that wish to assist with coaching children, the Introduction to Cricket Coaching course may be more suitable for you. This course looks at what to coach, and how to coach it to children. The essentials of Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Emergency First Aid are both available pre-season but get in quick as these courses fill up very quickly.

After the Easter holidays, we will be running two ‘kwik cricket game manager’ courses. The course will walk you through this modified and participative version of our game that’s suitable for children aged 10 and under. Participants will be able to set up, run the game, umpire and score at the end of the course.

All of our courses are interactive and participative and will help you to get prepared for the new cricket season that’s just around the corner.

Full details of how to book and associated costs are shown on the flyer HERE.
