Scotland couldn’t replicate the same start as their first match as Port of Authority reduced the visitors to 29/4, with Omesh and Tyron both claiming two wickets apiece.
Rob Taylor helped to re-build the innings with 23 runs from 30 balls before being dismissed by Bandara.
Matthew Cross (3) and Gordon Goudie (1) were both quickly dismissed as the innings was in danger of imploding with Scotland on 62/8 with 5 overs remaining.
Safyaan Sharif again showed that he is more than capable with the bat with an unbeaten 18, and together with David Murphy (24) added 40 runs in a eighth wicket partnership towards the end of the innings to get the final total to 102/8 after 20 overs.
The Ports Authority had a stuttering start to their innings, finding themselves in a bit of trouble after De Silva had been run out and Sharif had claimed two quick wickets, to reduce the hosts to 34/3 after 6 overs.
Vital innings by Wickramasinga (16), Thirisara (15) and Perera (18) helped get closer to the required total but, when Goudie, MacLeod and Haq each claimed a wicket, the match looked still to be in the balance.
It was two lusty blows by Tyron, which resulted in a four and a six, swung the game back into the hands of the hosts.
A dramatic final over saw De Alwis find the boundary from the fourth ball delivery to get Ports Authority over the line with two wickets remaining.
