Rosy Ryan takes up role as West Women's Development Officer
Cricket Scotland is pleased to announce that Rosy Ryan has taken up the role of Women and Girls Development Officer covering the West of Scotland.
Rosy is heavily involved at Dumfries CC and has an extensive coaching background in both cricket and football. She has been in a role as the Dumfries Sports Club Development Officer and also worked for Active Schools.
In her role as Development Officer, Rosy will be working closely with local clubs and schools to develop and deliver projects to engage and inspire more girls to play cricket.
Rosy brings great coaching experience, a strong understanding of female participation, and a track record of getting females involved in sport. She is also super enthusiastic and we have every confidence that she will be a fantastic role model and fit in well with the participation team.
The Women and Girls Participation Team will have a big part to play in Cricket Scotland`s aim of a 20% increase in committed participants by 2019.
