Wildcats back in T20 action this weekend
The Wildcats are in action this weekend playing two T20’s at Frocester Cricket Club, Gloucestershire.
Gloucestershire and Devon will provide the opposition as the Wildcats will be looking to move up the table.
The team will still be without the experienced Kathryn White after suffering an eye injury, but the all-rounder has had some postive news that she can return to playing cricket.
Kirstie Gordon is also back after representing England U19s during the week.
Looking ahead to the game captain Abbi Aitken is optimistic of the team’s chances “We're now approaching the midway point of our season in both the one day and T20 formats. With life in division 2 proving a challenging step up from last year, we're aiming to capitalise on the rest of our T20 fixtures in Division 3.
We're under no illusion that both Gloucestershire and Devon will prove competitive opponents, but it's up to us to practice what we preach so well, and continue to search for that perfect all round performance. We've got a strong squad travelling this weekend, with a variety of bowlers, and a batting line up with depth.”
