Stand in captain, Kathryn White, lost the toss as the Wildcats were asked to bowl first. Before proceedings got underway Lorna Jack was presented with her 50th cap.
Opening bowler White didn't hang around and took 2 quick wickets, a feat that took her to 100 wickets for Scotland, and left the hosts on 26-2.
The introduction of spinners Kirstie Gordon and Kari Anderson proved to be a stroke of genius, with the pair picking up 5 wickets between them, leaving Oxfordshire in trouble on 47-7.
The final three wickets were picked up between Ollie Rae and Nadia Wheeler to reduce Oxfordshire to 69 all out in the 45th over.
The opening pair that has served the Wildcats so well this season, was unchanged, with White and Urquhart opening up. Both batters played to their natural strengths and looked to punish anything in their scoring area.
The victory was sealed in the 12th over with Fiona Urquhart unbeaten on 34 and White on 29.
After the game coach Kari Anderson was clearly delighted, "That was a really ruthless performance, of course there are some areas we can get even better at but let's not taking anything away from the girls. The bowlers stuck to their task and to see Kathryn and Fi go out and bat so positively really put the icing on the cake. The U17s have had a busy and successful week so all in all this is a fab week for both or National team. The players work so hard and deserve this".
