Women's Regional Tournaments

28 Apr

This year the women’s regionals will be contested by the Highlanders and the Reivers. All games will be T20 played in coloured clothing using a white ball.

Head Coach and Cricket Scotland Women’s Cricket Manager, Kari Carswell, is looking forward to the Regional series, “we’ve had our regional series running in the T20 format for a couple of years now and it’s worked really well.

It gives our best female cricketers the opportunity to play against each other in a meaningful competition. The game at all levels continues to grow and we have a very clear female player pathway now and it’s great that there are more opportunities to play if you are female now than ever before.  There is a real buzz around the female game at the moment in Scotland and long may it continue.”

Entry to all games is free so if you are in the area please feel free to come along.
