Cricket Media Super Sixes 2010

This year the competition sees two new teams involved with the Indoor Media Super Sixes, Uddingston from the west have decided to take the trip across the M8 to compete and will be joined by the youth of the Eastern Academy.

The decision was taken this year to implement a seeding system and sees the four semi finalists from last year, Martin Currie CC (Formally Bank of Scotland), Watsonians, Grange and Carlton in separate groups.  

After a successful tournament last year Martin Currie CC will be looking to win the tournament again but will find stiff opposition in SMRH and SNCL club Uddingston, while Heriots will be looking for a good start to the season and find themselves again pitted against Edinburgh rivals Watsonians for the second year running. Grange will be looking to avenge defeat in last year’s final but will face a spirited Edinburgh University side along with Freuchie while Carlton have been drawn in a group which contains Fauldhouse and Penicuik.

The competition will commence on Friday the 8th of January and will run through to March which will see the finals night held on the 5th of March.
