Cricket Scotland have Open to All Disability Cricket Centres in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth, Highlands and Aberdeenshire. In conjunction with Lord’s Taverners, these programmes provide regular playing, officiating and volunteering opportunities for any person with a disability interested in cricket.
Cricket is a game that unites communities and improves lives. Cricket Scotland want every individual and community to be united by the feeling that cricket is a game for them.
With the support of the ECB and our sponsors Beyond Boundaries, the Disability Cricket Champion Clubs programme will support cricket clubs to create or develop playing opportunities for disabled people. Champion clubs will be supported to welcome individuals with different needs and varying abilities to become valued members of their club – celebrating that the game of cricket has something to offer everyone.
For further information or to apply please contact our Disability Cricket Development Officer Barry McGeachy – email@example.com
Super 1s gives young people with a disability aged 12-25 the chance to play regular, competitive cricket. By creating community cricket hubs where young people can receive coaching, we give participants the chance to compete against their peers and enjoy the benefits of playing sport.
Table cricket is an adapted version of cricket, played on a table tennis table and specially designed to give young people with a disability the chance to play, compete and volunteer in the sport we all love.
