Alastdair Evans has become one of Scotland’s more senior players, having led the seam-attack in the ICC 2015 World Cup and 2016 T20 World Cup and being involved in the national set-up for 8 years.
He has taken 26 ODI wickets in 19 matches with his best bowling figures coming against UAE and Hong Kong (both 4/41). His best figures in T20 cricket came against the Netherlands in 2015 ICC Qualifier in Edinburgh, where he took 5/24.
Although originally born in Kent, Evans moved up to Scotland at an early age where he has be progressed from U13s all the way through to a main-stay in the national side.
He has also spent a number (2012-2013) of years at English county side, Derbyshire.
