Scotland travelled down to Lord’s Cricket Ground on Tuesday to take part in a 50 over match against Marylebone Cricket Club.
Scott Cameron presented with his first cap at the start of play as Kyle Coetzer won the toss and elected to bat as he and George Munsey headed out to the middle at the iconic ground.
The pair took advantage of good batting conditions as they put on 45 before Munsey departed. Calum MacLeod, who holds fond memories of playing at Lord’s, winning the Royal London Cup with Durham, put on 106 for the second wicket.
MacLeod went for 57 after a delivery that nipped back from Alasdair Evans, who was playing for the MCC along with Chris Greaves.
Coetzer played an excellent captain’s knock, scoring 83 to take Scotland to 185 before he fell to Martin.

Decent contributions from Richie Berrington (36), Michael Leask (21) and Mark Wat (24) ensured Scotland would post a handy total of 309 all out from 49.5 overs.
Safyaan Sharif snuffed out any realistic chance of a run-chase with three early wickets. When Chris Greaves edged behind to give Cameron his first Scotland wicket, the MCC found themselves 25/4.
Shivnerine Chanderpaul was appearing for the MCC and he starred with the bat, top-scoring with 67 before brilliantly run out by Berrington at square leg.
Leask and MacLeod both claimed a wicket while Cameron returned with 2/9 from 7 overs while Sharif was pick of the bowlers with 3/29 as the MCC were all out for 170 in the 49th over to give Scotland the win by 139 runs.
Scotland A played local club Fleetwood CC in a T20 game yesterday before taking on Lancashire second XI at Blackpool in a two-day game on Thursday and Friday.
