Scotland will travel to the Home of Cricket this week where they will play Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) in a 50 over match on Tuesday in a capped match.

Kyle Coetzer will captain the side which will have Michael Leask and Stuart Whittingham released from Somerset and Sussex respectively.

Speaking ahead of training on Monday, Scotland Head Coach Grant Bradburn said, “Playing at Lords is a huge honour for every cricketer around the world. For Scotland to be playing the MCC at the home of cricket is a real privilege for our players, which everyone is very much looking forward to.

As our national team continues to build towards the next series away to Papua New Guinea in October, the Lords game is an important fixture for the team to recapture the strong performances from the start of this summer.

While the majority of our senior squad will come together, we have also rewarded opportunities for three younger uncapped players from our performance squad (Scott Cameron, Mitchell Rao and Michael English) who continue to put forward excellent domestic performances.”

Play is due to commence at 10.30am at Lord’s and tickets are available to purchase on the North & Grace Gates, priced at £5.00 for adults, £2.50 for seniors over the age of 65, and children under the age of 16 are admitted free of charge.

Scotland: Kyle Coetzer, Con de Lange, Richie Berrington, Michael English, Michael Leask, Calum MacLeod, Mitchell Rao, Safyaan Sharif, Craig Wallace, Mark Watt, Stuart Whittingham, Scott Cameron.

MCC: J Irvine-Fortescue, B Frazer, J Ravel, C Greaves, S Chanderpaul, A Shales, A Evans, A Brewster, A Pollock, K Martin.
