Scotland's Performance squad head to La Manga for a pre season training camp

Twenty-one of Scotland’s cricketers will warm up for the coming season with a training camp in La Manga from March 29 to April 3.

The camp comes on the back of a partnership agreement between Club La Manga and Cricket Scotland with the facility in Spain now available to representitive players as a warm weather training venue.

The purpose of the trip is to build on the excellent winter preparation undertaken by the squad before and after their trip to the Desert T20 in January.

Strength and Conditioning coach Simon Smith, National Performance Coach Toby Bailey will oversee the camp alongside Head Coach Grant Bradburn.

The traveling party will be a mix of national players, U19s, ‘A’ Team and Development players who will all have the opportunity to showcase their skills to the coaching staff.

The schedule will include outdoor nets and gym and pool sessions.
