The East and the Rest clash again this weekend in the second of their T20 double headers. This time it is the turn of the East to host, with the matches being played at Myreside, home of Watsonians Cricket Club. Two weeks ago at Ayr Cricket Club, East came out on top in game one, with game two succumbing to the elements after 5 overs.
East welcome back Ollie Rae and Abbi Aitken from their absences two weeks ago, with skipper Kathryn Bryce looking to maintain her good form in the competition this season. Caitlin Ormiston is still missing through injury. Rachel Scholes returns for the Rest to bolster their line up, and they will be buoyed by how both Becky Glen and Lorna Jack batted in Ayr, with Jack carrying that form over for the Wildcats last weekend.
With another Wildcats double header on Sunday 2nd July, this is another opportunity for players to put their hands up and enter the minds of the selectors. The games this weekend will start at 11:00 & 15:00 respectively.
