This Sunday sees the female regional programme burst into full swing with matches at both senior and junior level taking place across the country.

In the senior competition, East travel to Ayr Cricket Club to face the Rest in a T20 double header, with games beginning at 11:00am and 15:00pm.

Both sides have key players missing, and the Rest of Scotland will be looking for revenge after their defeat in the opening 50 over game this season.

However, with East skipper Kathryn Bryce having registered two centuries for Loughborough Women’s Cricket Club since then they may have their work cut out for them. With the Wildcats opening T20 games of the season less taking place the following weekend, this is a great opportunity for players to put themselves into the frame for selection.

The under 17 regional programme is being played over the next 3 Sunday’s, and week one sees East vs North at Livingston Cricket Club, while Central play host to the West at Meigle Cricket Club. This is an exciting opportunity for those who have been working hard all winter to execute their skills in a match environment.
